Hey everyone!
Another edition of the recap is here! This one marks 10th edition, which seems crazy, that we’ve been doing this over 10 weeks now.
You guys are amazing! The community is growing everyday and what we are building here together, is truly awesome.
Do me favor, if you have a writer friend, or someone with writing aspirations. Share Microdosing with them. So we can grow as a community and inspire new writers together!
As a celebration we will go with 100 words dose today!
Today on Microdosing our prompt is BRIDGE!
Write a story in 100 words!
Don’t forget to tag me if you follow along with the challenge!
Jerome sacrificed his existence to solve all the problems in the world, traveling far and wide, improving lives, and giving away his riches.
Yet the same thoughts echoed in his mind— Not good enough.
His efforts brought him to a magical bridge with clear instructions: "Walk the bridge to fulfill your wish."
Without hesitation he sprinted across the bridge, the stony path blurry under his feet.
The world was changinga and hope pumped through his veins.
Then the other side came, and new problems resurfaced instantly. New bridge appearing with them.
He fell to his knees — Not good enough.
The Contributions
Now let’s take a look at the awesome compilation from all around substack. Please don’t feel discouraged if you are not on the list, I can
First let’s start with
who actually asked me to start the recap back in January when Microdosing started. She is an awesome writer and her story on the prompt Invitation was not only one I saved to definitely include but it was also voted in by you guys!If you ever been to a musical festival, especially punk ones,
and her story about Flashing will make you remember certain scenes haha. She also did a crazy good one on Surrender!Mixing drugs is usally not recommended, but
showed us that mixing two prompts together can work well!Last but not least
gave us a powerful and vivid story on my favorite prompt of the week VeilThat’s it for today folks.
Thank you for joining in and continuing to support my work. I might be a little less active next week as we are launching a new board game at work and the time in the day is limited, but I will still do my best to read your contributions!
See you next week
~Miguel
