Today on Microdosing our prompt is BOX!
Write a story in 80 words!
Don’t forget to tag me if you follow along with the challenge.
Boxes changed Johnny’s life. First came the box of wine they found under his table at work, followed by the box he took with him, along with the termination of his contract.Â
Soon after, he got a box of his belongings, and the doors of his own home shut forever behind him.Â
Then, there was that one cardboard box serving as an excuse for a shelter.
And finally, when the end came, he didn't get a box to rest in.Â
Raccoon note: When uploading this story, I was looking for a picture of a box on Unsplash, and many pictures of cats inside boxes popped up. So please. Someone write a response with cats and boxes. Thank you.
Hi everyone, welcome to my unboxing video.
As you’ll remember, I ordered a really interesting specimen. I posted about it and received a large number of responses, ranging from excitement to... uh... threats, including one offer to have my brain exorcised. LOL! You guys!
Well it’s finally here!
Slit with the boxcutter... there we go!
Rather a lot of... bugs? Wonder where they came from?
Never mind, let’s scoop out the packing peas... eggs?
And here we...
Uh...
TEETH!
The cubic volume of this container is eighty cubic mg. It's four by four by five. Just enough for eighty words. No more and no less. I'm very picky about the details. Without them there is no tension. No adversary for my imagination to do battle. I'm a captive contestant and the constraint is constructive. I will expand and contract as needed. Like gas. Like a blood vessel. Like an accordian playing a tarantella, jumping around but sticking the landing.
