Nothing is enough after that. Not eons, not books of apologies. Never the thoughts.
No. Once a moment passes, there’s no taking it back. The world continues to spin and waterfalls keep pouring from the eyes.
Gus was training his grandson on pistol. Paden held the weapon uncertainly in his left hand.
“Son, that arm holds the most powerful life changing machinery known to man.”
“I know PopPop, I’ll be careful with the gun.”
