Hey there!

Welcome back to another edition of the Recap is ! I can’t believe we’re almost on the 20th edition 🎉

My publication is 1-year old today! Yay! I was thinking of renaming the Recap to fit the whole Dealer shtick. One of the names that came to mind was The Batch, which usually stands for the amount of cooked drugs in one session (at least that’s what they called it in the Breaking Bad). Let me know your thoughts!

Microdosing — 50mg of a Reflection

Today on Microdosing our prompt is Reflection!

Write a story in 50 words!

Mury sacrificed so much. Shed blood, sweat, and tears in the gym, training like a maniac; chicken and rice were his only friends.

Yet, all the mirrors laughed at him whenever they caught his reflection. His mind fed him lies about his true looks, ignoring all the progress he had made.

Thanks for the Special Shoutout! I really enjoyed the 'overdose' last night. It was a fun challenge, and I guess, a little early preview of the 'Brick of Fiction'. Haha. 'The Batch' sounds good, but 'Recap' works well, too, and nicely explains what it is. Some great contributions here, as always. Well done everyone... 😎
