Beginnings. That initial step — that giant leap. Could we do it — really do it? Could we land on the moon? Walk on it? Even return back from the moon — our cratered, pock-marked, green-cheesed moon. Yeah, the one that all insprired cow jumped over. Why not? Why the hell not?
It's always tough in the beginning; like setting out to sea: navigating choppy waters, rough waves, gravel, rocks, doubts, and fears; however, perseverance, fortitude, resourcefulness, never-say-die, will get you there. Success is first achieved, at the start, when the going is tough; it is crowned in the end through perseverance.
On the first day of kindergarten, I threw up in the bus. At playtime, I fell down and skinned my knees. Miss Melrose gave me a magic lemon drop so I wouldn't cry. My new best friend sat next to me. I knew I was going to be all right.
The long ACME TNT fuse was lit. A coyote desperado attempt to stop the heist of gold. T’was the bar hop beginning drink that held Cuervo tequila hostage; a Singapore sling shot to blow the Fourth’s Spirits sky high. The fuse lit, but fizzle sticks stop a drive home.

THE BIG BANG
BOOM.
The first explosion took everyone by surprise, as it echoed between buildings and shook the ground we were standing on.
It had come out of nowhere, but it was rapidly followed by many more, in wave after wave.
And the noise was absolutely deafening.
The fireworks display had begun… 😎
Prompt: Beginning

So true, beginnings are the hardest but if you keep up, it gets better! Thank you for writing this Lydia :)

The Journey Begins
It is said that every great journey begins with the first step.
For Timothy Flatbottom, it was firebombing the world’s last standing Blockbuster Video.
Beginning a story is the easiest part. Watch me, I’m good.
You *could* start ‘Once upon a time...’, but then you’d need a fairytale ending, and I don’t wanna go there.
You *could* go ‘Our story begins...’ but it’s a touch obvious, don’t you think?
So my story begins -
That would actually be an amazing beginning

I'm a sucker for the bit where it becomes a Russian Civil War narrative like Babel's "Red Cavalry"
One day at a time ❤
