60 words micro based on "Teardrops":

I examined my tears in the microscope. At 10X, I saw my homunculus drowning. I rotated the lens to the 20X objective, and I could make out the filamentary remains of heart strings. With the 40X objective, I could make out the proteinaceous smithereens of my soul. And when I used immersion for 100X, I saw her drowning, too, face-up.

Another great prompt - here's my entry for today

She hadn’t cried in years. Not when he left. Not when the silence swallowed their home.

Then, on a rain-slick street, she spotted it—a tiny glass teardrop earring, glistening under the streetlamp.

She picked it up, breath hitching. A single tear slid down her cheek. Then another.

The floodgates opened, and finally, she wept.
