Time slowed but the barrel’s rotation did not. Nauseated but too afraid to throw up, he succumbed to his fate.

When I was in boot camp they typed me three times, first by a Petty Officer 2nd class, then a Chief, and finally a Lt Cmdr. It's so rare they didn't believe their tests.

Pretty much nothing feels better than fresh sheets.
I admired them for a moment, then climbed into bed with my hot chocolate, ready to watch some TV.
Just seconds later, I got startled by my cat leaping off the wardrobe.
I dropped my mug.
And my new sheets were ruined… 😎
