Till death do us part. That was the promise we kept for sixty years, living a life of laughter and love.Â
Until you were taken from me. Heartbroken, I followed soon after, searching for you in the limbo between life and death, where all souls reside.Â
Now that I found you, I have a question.

My 60 words Story. Prompt- Forever:
Maria wakes up in a bed in the hospital ward where she works. Next to her, Pedro sits, almost sunk, in a black leather armchair. The big, strong hand that pulled her out of the water is now stroking Maria's hair, as if trying to calm her thoughts, erase all the time that has passed, wipe it off the calendar.
